You may be asking yourself why we set out to write this book?
Quite simply, we wanted to make a difference in the lives of children. As registered dietitians, it seemed logical to focus on our nutrition and wellness expertise. What’s more, we often hear from busy parents, caregivers and teachers asking us for nutrition advice for young school-aged children.
Some tell us they want specific nutrition tips to help kids excel in school. Others tell us they want solid information without any overload or complex strategy to learn. Yet others ask us for need-to-know basics that work with today’s hectic lifestyle. Got it! Keep it simple. Keep it practical. And, always back it up with solid research. Eureka! The inspiration for Eating for A’s.
